Tinui

At the back of the Tinui Craft Corner store, in the small town of Tinui - 40 kilometres from Masterton, is a delightful small building with a red door.

It has a sign saying "Toilets" and is labelled to say "Porch of the original Tinui School, built 1875 - resited and restored 1989".

You collect the large key, with a welded circle on the end, from the Tinui Craft Corner & Museum when it is open, otherwise you get it from the small dairy next door.
Disconcertingly this toilet has one way glass on the large window beside the toilet, and this has obviously bothered enough people for a small notice stating that fact to be installed.

The toilet is set in a small attractive courtyard with an old cart and other farm machinery as well as trees, planters and seats. Also available for viewing is the two berth jail house and young children have lots of fun imaging themselves, or other family members, locked away.

Lake Ferry, Wairarapa New Zealand

On the east coast of the lower North Island of Aotearoa / New Zealand
is this pimple of a long drop that has become so full it is now a short drop; a very smelly drop.
